Sanford Health named title sponsor of the Sioux Falls Marathon

The Sioux Falls Sports Authority is excited to announce Sanford Health as the official title sponsor of the Sioux Falls Marathon. The 2018 Sioux Falls Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, 10K Team Challenge and Miracle 5K will be held Sunday, Sept. 9.

“Sanford Health has been a long-standing supporter of the Sioux Falls Marathon and we are thrilled to continue the partnership,” Sioux Falls Marathon Race Director Tim Evans said. “Sanford Health is committed to the wellness of our community and we are looking forward to growing the relationship and offering runners a memorable experience when they come to Sioux Falls to run one of our races.”

The 2018 Sioux Falls Marathon will feature a marathon, half marathon, and new in 2018 a 10K and 10K Team Challenge, as well as the Miracle 5K. In 2017, the Sioux Falls Marathon saw a record number of registrants for the second consecutive year with over 3,000 runners. The growth of the race has allowed the Sioux Falls Marathon to grow its partnership with Sanford Children’s Hospital/Miracle Network. Miracle 5K participants and the running community helped raise over $28,000 last year towards CMN, impacting many lives in the community.
